AN IMPROVED SIMPLEC SCHEME FOR FLUID REGISTRATION

The image registration is always a strongly ill-posed problem, stable numerical approach then desired to better approximate the deformation vectors. This paper introduces an efficient implementation of Navier Stokes equation in fluid context. Although approaches have succeeded handling large deformations, results are sometimes inconsistent and unexpected. related, fact, used scheme which does not take into consideration different properties continuous operators. To account these properties, we use robust based on finite volume with pressure correction. scheme, called by Semi-Implicit Method for Pressure-Linked Equation-Consistent (SIMPLEC), known its stability consistency dynamics experimental demonstrate that proposed method more stable, visually quantitatively, compared some classical methods.
